About Me

Hey everybody,

My name is Christopher Swan, I’m a 19 year old biology major at Penn State University and I love hockey. And that’s it. That’s all you need to know about me.

Just kidding.

I’m from a small town called Morgantown (not West Virginia) just outside of Reading, Pennsylvania, and was born in the suburbs of Philadelphia in Delaware County. I moved to Morgantown when I was about six, and attended Twin Valley High School until I was 18. I started watching hockey during the first round of 2012 playoffs between the Flyers and Penguins, which is also when I became a Flyers fan. I’m also a Phillies, Eagles, and Sixers fan (I guess), and I love Penn State Athletics. I’m a member of the Roar Zone (@theroarzone), otherwise known as the greatest hockey student section in the entire NCAA (yes, that includes you, Michigan), and my favorite sports are hockey, baseball, and football.

Also I use the name “Christopher” strictly professionally; I prefer that people call me “Chris”, but when you write “Chris Swan” on a piece of paper I feel like it just looks weird. Or maybe I’m just weird. Oh well.

I plan on using this blog mainly as a Flyers blog, but I am thinking about expanding it to cover hockey more generally in the future. I hope to update as often as possible but really posts will likely just go up as I finish them.

Either way, I hope you all enjoy my blog! Feel free to leave a comment on any of my posts or message me on Twitter (@csw4n). I love talking sports with anybody!

Oh, and hotdogs are sandwiches.
